Our Mission

The Paul Nelson Randolph Abundant Life Scholarship Foundation (the "Foundation") is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020. The Foundation seeks to encourage and support underrepresented student groups to, and through, college and/or trade/vocational school. The Foundation also desires to create a culture of racial equity by providing these students with financial support to enable them to gain access to a postsecondary education.

  • Vision

The Foundation is built upon the belief that underrepresented students need and deserve an education beyond high school, and a lack of money should not hinder students from striving to reach this goal. We endeavor to make a positive contribution to all communities through our scholarship program and the students we serve.

  • Values

    Collaboration and Partnership

We seek collaboration and involvement in our work.

We desire engagement with others that share our vision.

We value honesty and integrity in our relationships

  • Impact

We are driven to make a positive difference in our communities.

We evaluate our success based on the students and families we are able to serve.

We strive for continuous improvement in all that we do.

Our Commitment

The Paul Nelson Randolph Abundant Life Scholarship Foundation is committed to continuing Paul Randolph's legacy of encouraging high school graduates and others to pursue additional education and training to obtain critical employment skills and economic stability. The Foundation is focused on this mission, with an emphasis on graduating seniors from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio and Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland, Ohio and/or active members of The City of Life Christian Church (University City, Missouri), three organizations near and dear to Paul.

“Paul always offered a balanced, wise perspective on how to manage my finances, my parenting challenges, and a positive outlook toward life in general. I miss him dearly.”
