About Deacon Paul Nelson Randolph
A native son of Toledo, Ohio, Paul was known for his kind spirit and authentic support of friends and strangers alike. He was a proud graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School, where he excelled in football. Paul was also known for his deep love of God, family, music, University of Michigan sports, and repairing any and everything. He translated his passion for hands-on work to a successful career at First Energy Corp., where he progressed from apprentice, to journeyman, then stationary engineer and finally power plant supervisor. Paul always encouraged others to pursue their own dreams, generously offering mentorship and resources to anyone in need. His passion for helping those in his hometown and later in his adopted home bases of Cleveland, Ohio, and St. Louis, Missouri, was rooted in the very simple premise that everyone should have the ability to live life abundantly. Paul committed his life to uplifting many and continued this mission until his passing in 2020.
